Read the original text + the 'key' comments. You should also read the 'activities' part, and be well prepared for what you are expected to do at school.
Organize 6 groups, one for each stanza. When you have split the differences concerning the choices, discuss the content of your stanza. Do you agree with Cindy Y Hwang (check the information on the net!), or do you have other ideas and opinions? You are supposed to comment on every 'key'!
Listen carefully to your stanza while checking the text. What can you say about the rhytm, rhyme, allitterations, etc., etc. ?
Do you think the text, meaning and music work well together ? Explain why!
What do you consider to be the theme of the song?
Will it be possible to imagine other themes? Put your heads together and make up at least a couple of other suggestions!
If you haven't finished what you were expected to do at school, do it at home.
There are a lot of people, music, etc. mentioned in the comments. Your group is supposed to choose one piece of music, find the text someplace (e.g. on the net!), play it in class and comment on it.
Presentation of the homework. Each of the groups are supposed to present the chosen piece of music, and to play it. Time available = appr. 40 minutes / 6 (so hurry up!!)
